Educational Holiday (Bildungsurlaub)

If you are employed in Germany you probably can book up to two weeks of educational leave with us to learn Swedish.

Since 2019, many of the 30-hour-per-week courses offered by Swedish Express have been recognized as educational leave in Germany. This currently applies to the following federal states:

Unfortunately, our courses are not recognized as educational leave in Baden-Württemberg and North Rhine-Westphalia.

Some employers from other federal states, such as Bremen or Saxony, still approve "further training leave" if the courses are recognized as educational leave in other federal states. Please ask your employer about this.

The regulations of the individual federal states regarding educational leave vary greatly. It is therefore best to contact us directly. We will then give you information about which course is recognized in the respective federal state and how much lead time we need for possible recognition.
